Abstract


The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of parenting on student learning discipline. This research uses a quantitative-deskriptive method with a type of correlational analysis. The subject of this research is the students in class X SMA Pembangunan UNP Padang with 20 people as a sample. In collecting the  required  data, the researchers used a questionare using a Likert Scale assessment. The data analysis technique uses simple linier regression analysis. The result of this research state that perenting influences the students learning discipline, this could be  proven by the result of calculations obtained : 20,492 > 4,41 because  the calculated  result f count is larger than f table.
