Abstract


Dewasa ini siswa harus berhadapan dengan keadaan untuk mempersiapkan dan memilih karier. Generasi Z saat ini tumbuh kembang bersama dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat. Munculnya pekerjaan-pekerjaan baru tentunya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dunia saat ini. Dalam pemilihan karir terdapat salah satu aspek yang dapat mempengaruhi seseorang dalam pengambilan keputusan, yaitu karakteristik kepribadian individu. Karakteristik generasi Z mampu memanfaatkan perubahan teknologi dalam berbagai sendi kehidupan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis perspektif Holland (RIASEC) yang digunakan dalam pemilihan karir generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research). Penelitian ini menganalisis sejauh mana teori Holland dapat digunakan untuk membantu siswa dalam memilih karir. Tipe-tipe kepribadian dipengaruhi oleh factor bawaan diri sendiri dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan peneliti menemukan bahwa siswa SMA yang tergolong sebagai generasi Z  semakin mantap mempersiapkan transisi dari sekolah ke kerja dan meningkatkan peluang mereka untuk menemukan pekerjaan berkualitas menggunakan perspektif Holland.
