Welcome to the latest edition of JPPI (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Indonesia). In Volume 11, Number 1 (2025), we are proud to present a compelling collection of scholarly works that reflect the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of education and social science.
This issue features contributions from researchers across eight countries—Indonesia, Gambia, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, India, Brunei Darussalam, and Germany—showcasing a truly international perspective on pressing educational and psychological issues.

In this edition, we highlight a diverse range of critical themes that reflect the complexity and richness of today’s educational and social science environments. The featured articles explore strategic topics such as the global bibliometric mapping of educational innovation dissemination, the role of numeracy and verbal skills in predicting academic success, and the influence of work experience and transformational leadership on teacher performance. Additionally, this volume addresses contemporary issues including the intersection of ethics, artificial intelligence, and higher education; the analysis of complex problem-solving using VR-based interactive media through an ethnopedagogical approach; and initiatives to enhance entrepreneurial intentions among vocational high school students. Each article presents a unique, research-driven approach that not only enriches academic discourse but also contributes meaningfully to improving educational and counseling practices across diverse cultural contexts.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all authors, reviewers, and readers whose dedication continues to uphold the quality and relevance of JPPI (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Indonesia). May this volume serve as a catalyst for ongoing dialogue and growth within the counseling and educational professions, as we strive to enhance the well-being and resilience of those we serve.
Warm regards,
Editor-in-Chief
